We are all fragile
No matter what is going on in our lives, how successful we are, how hard we work on our bodies, or the love we have and share, sometimes we cannot change how we feel inside. Our minds are the most powerful things known to exist, and we often times allow this power to impact us rather than improve us, especially as men.
The fragile state of men
If we go all the way back to the most primal of times, men are born to be protectors, providers, hunters and gatherers, but times have changed. Many of our fathers had not been there for us, told us they loved us, or shown us how to be a man of balance between respect, empathy, and love. It is typically later in life during our relationships which we let our guard down, show vulnerability, and explore the deeper meaning of being a true protector and provider at an emotional level. It’s time to be there for each other as men, explore our flaws, and be honest with ourselves about the work that may be needed to be the best version of ourselves. It’s time to allow ourselves to be FRAGILE.
